CAI EngageD!

A new century with unlimited possibilities!

PUBLISHING & Music CATALOG

In cooperation with the publishing arm of ISTIA, CAI is creating a digital archive of the vocal art song and theatrical compositions of its founder, Jerome Hines. The theatrical works will be available for licensing and sheet music purchases of individual songs as well.

Lectures & Master classes

As in the past, through our educational interactive events hosted by professional artists and educators, we at CAI desire to serve secular and Christian venues that have fewer opportunities to present classical vocal art and opera performance.

Concerts & LIVE PErFORMANCE

New media technologies and space utilization opportunities have re-framed access alternatives for live performance. These will permit CAI to reach new and longtime devotees of classical/sacred music to encounter the great treasures of traditional and unknown works of art.

FREELANCE musicians & singers

Full-time positions for singers and players are the first casualty, as more live arts venues cut their seasons and traditional donor bases shrink New locations and strategies for employment of classical musicians must be explored. CAI aims to be part of the solution.

The American Jerome A. Hines, was a well-known bass opera singer who was a beloved artist among the legendary icons of the Metropolitan Opera for many years. His height (6ft 6 inches/2m), stage presence and stentorian voice made him ideal for such roles as Sarastro in The Magic Flute, Mephistopheles in Faust, Ramfis in Aida, the Grand Inquisitor in Don Carlos, the title role of Boris Godunov and King Mark in Tristan und Isolde. In contrast, his talent, humor and vocal versatility allowed him sing Broadway hits, Negro Spirituals, and hymns of faith to thrill national audiences during the Golden Age of Television through The Voice of Firestone weekly broadcasts.
